Every trip starts with a journey to the airport and the inevitable hanging about, but I always feel a holiday has started when we get on board the aircraft, taxi to the runway, lift off and say goodbye to the green fields and cloudy skies from the UK for a couple of weeks.
Flights to Greek Islands from the UK always seem to be evening departures so it is the middle of the night before you arrive at your hotel feeling tired, and wondering if it was worth the journey. As always Sunrise shows it was worth it and you can now relax and enjoy the next couple of weeks enjoying the Sea, Sands Food and Tavernas
