After leaving The Melissani lake the next stop was on to the  small resort and  Harbour of Agia AGIA EFIMIA 2.jpg (57398 bytes)AGIA EFIMIA 1.jpg (43413 bytes) Efemia. This is a quiet, almost sleepy small town. Although before the 1953 earthquake it was one of Kefelonia s trade centres. It was rebuilt with French assistance and is now a tranquil, picturesque town and it is a relaxing  place to visit. The Harbour is used by both ferries and as a safe anchorage for yachts and pleasure crafts.
